Best Western Historic Frederick Hotel

The staff here is awesome, and the room was super clean with plenty of space. The hotel's outdoor swimming pool was a great chill spot, and the sun loungers were comfy for soaking up the sun. I did find a lone dirty cup by the bed upon arrival, but it didn't ruin the overall experience. 🌞

Rooms were spacious, but weird bathroom layout. Staff friendly, breakfast decent. Beds comfy, but odd pillow situation. Some maintenance issues, like noisy heater. A comfortable stay with helpful staff. If in the area, would consider staying again.

Every detail was lovely, including location and rooms, I liked how clean the hotel was. The breakfast had lots of options, eggs, bacon and hot waffles. The venue room was reasonably priced on the second floor. Frederick Municipal airport was hardly 15 minutes away by car.

There were good staff and location for a really really nice stay for the holidays. I liked the room, was with 2 double beds. It had lots of meals for breakfast, including eggs, bacon and hot waffles. Everything was simply perfect.

Well-maintained hotel with varied breakfasts and brand-new rooms, that's what we loved. Central heating, a writing table and an electronic key card in the room and the comfortable bed. The staff was helpful. Easy check-in was a bonus.

Location was pleasant close to highway, staff were supper friendly, everything was clean throughout. I appreciated the room, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The continental breakfast was fine and had plenty of meals.

The location of the hotel is great. It is very close to the downtown area where all the tourists go for sightseeing. However, it is not too close to the restaurants which is good since it is not too noisy. The breakfast served here is decent, and the high-speed internet is helpful.

The hotel rooms are poorly soundproofed, which makes it quite loud, especially with metal doors slamming shut.

The location of this hotel is great, as it is situated in an older area relatively close to a shopping area where we could get a quick bite before settling in. The hotel is also close to shops but secluded, giving us some peace and quiet in a middle American neighborhood.

The cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired as the bathtub had dirt in it and there was no shampoo/conditioner or face/hand soap provided.

I simply adored the charming decor throughout this darling little inn! The cozy sitting areas and the lovely floral arrangements made me feel right at home. The hotel's senior-friendly accessibility, with well-placed grab bars and easy-to-navigate corridors, truly catered to the needs of us older folks. It was such a comfort to feel safe and well-catered to in that regard.

The only improvement I'd suggest is for the children of the staff to be a touch more attentive in ensuring that the room amenities are in tip-top condition for a truly delightful vacation for seniors.

Staying near Westview Promenade and Francis Scott Key Mall made shopping a breeze, while the outdoor pool and fitness center kept us entertained. Access to the Maryland SoccerPlex and Discovery Sports Center was easy, and our stay in Frederick felt like a home away from home, with a warm and welcoming vibe.

My wife says that having a larger bathroom would be beneficial for families with children.

The hotel also accommodated our need to park in a handicap space without a sticker, which was very helpful as my husband had difficulty getting around due to an ankle replacement.
